Watershed Planning and Advisory Councils
In 2004, the Government of Alberta formally recognized the BRBC as the Watershed Planning and Advisory Council for the Bow River Basin. Watershed Planning and Advisory Councils (WPACs) are multi-stakeholder, non-profit organizations that assess the conditions of their watershed and develop plans and activities to address watershed issues.
