When you support the BRBC, you join the people and organizations who dedicate their time, expertise and financial resources to Preserve Our Lifeline. The BRBC relies on its supporter’s commitment, expertise and time to implement its current and future projects. We welcome you to join other volunteers to make a real difference in our efforts to make the Bow Basin one of the best managed watersheds in the world.
The Bow River Basin Council does not assess membership fees. The BRBC seeks to be as inclusive as possible, while at the same time establishing that there is an obligation to membership.
Representatives on the Council serve in six membership categories: (i) commercial and industrial interests, (ii) individual public members, (iii) licensees (including irrigation agriculture), (iv) urban and rural municipalities, (v) non-profit / academia (including recreational and ecological interests, and (vi) administrative, regulatory and First Nations peoples (including provincial and federal government departments).
